About the North Metropolitan Health Service

About us

Established in 2016, North Metropolitan Health Services (NMHS) is committed to providing excellent health care for our patients and our communities.

As one of the largest health services in WA, we provide a comprehensive range of adult specialist medical, surgical, mental health and obstetric services.

These services are offered across three tertiary hospitals and two secondary hospitals:

  • Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital
  • King Edward Memorial Hospital
  • Osborne Park Hospital
  • Graylands Hospital
  • Joondalup Public Hospital (NMHS oversees its provision of contracted public health services)

Additionally, NMHS offers mental health, public health and dental services across the State as well as a range of statewide highly specialised multidisciplinary services (PDF) across a range of sites.

The NMHS is a statutory authority governed by the NMHS Board.
