Become a consumer representative
Become a consumer representative by joining our Community Partnership Network (external site). The voice and experience of our diverse patients, carers and family members matters to us. The Community Partnership Network is a register of consumers and carers who are interested in shaping the way we design, implement and evaluate our services.
Why should you get involved?
Involving consumers, carers and families in the design, delivery and evaluation of health services helps ensure our services work better for the people who use them.
Who should get involved?
Consumers, carers or family members should consider getting involved. Consumers are a current, potential or previous user of NMHS.
A carer is an individual who provides ongoing care, support and assistance to a person with disability, a chronic illness (including mental illness) or who is frail, without receiving a salary or wage for the care they provide.
What is involved?
We offer a range of opportunities for consumer engagement from reviewing publications to sharing ideas about new initiatives or by applying for membership to a Community Advisory Council.
How to register your interest?
Complete this registration form (external site). We will provide regular updates on opportunities to get involved.
