Music Video – Check ’Em from the Muludja Mob

Getting people to talk about bowel cancer and bowel screening is tricky. But bowel cancer takes the lives of three Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people each week. So it’s important that we do talk about it and tell our old people to go and do a simple test and stay healthy.

Indigenous Hip Hop Projects artists Dion Brownfield, Benny Walker, Aman Bayatly and Grayson Huddart came together with Menzies School of Health Research and the Department of Health on beautiful Gooniyandi country to make a music message about culture, country, bush medicine, health and having the bowel screening test. The Muludja mob were amazing – superstars!
