Nurse caring for elderly patient on their own homeAre you a registered or clinical nurse looking for your next challenge and a change in routine?

Hospital in the Home (HITH) offers you the chance to deliver high-quality care in the comfort of patients’ homes.

If you're looking for variety, autonomy and the ability to have a positive impact, this may be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

What is HITH?

Hospital in the Home (HITH) provides patients with the ability to receive acute inpatient care in the comfort of their own home, away from a hospital setting.

Our nurses provide treatments such as intravenous antibiotics, wound management, clinical assessment, heart failure management and more.

The HITH team has access to the same highly skilled staff, hospital technologies, equipment, medication, and safety and quality standards a patient would expect in hospital. Our patients are visited at home by the team each day and may be seen by nurses up to twice daily if required, until they are discharged.

What we are looking for

We value nurses who are enthusiastic, highly resourceful, have strong time management and problem-solving skills.

You will have excellent clinical assessment and communication skills to provide care to patients in both our hospital clinic and in the patients’ home.

Your qualifications and experience tell us part of your story but your values and attitude speak louder still. At NMHS, we aim to ensure our behaviours reflect our core values: Care, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork and Integrity.

What we offer

We have multiple vacancies for registered and clinical nurses for permanent and fixed term appointment.

Whilst you will be working autonomously providing one-to-one care to our valued patients, you will never be alone. Guidance and support will be immediately accessible throughout your working day. You will have access to the same highly skilled staff, hospital technologies, equipment, medication, and safety and quality standards a patient would expect in hospital.

This role offers unique benefits to the usual, such as:

  • no night duty
  • flexible, request-driven rostering
  • a variety of roles within the service
  • seven-day a week service with attractive penalty rates for after-hours and weekends
  • qualification allowance for approved relevant courses.

In addition to the great salary, our employees enjoy an amazing range of benefits including:

  • stable employment with professional and career development opportunities
  • generous salary packaging to increase take-home pay
